Argentine Football Association to launch business operations in India

New Delhi [India], Nov 5 (ANI): The Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced on Friday that it will begin its business operations in India with the official launch of AFA’s social media to the Indian public.

The respective social media handles will serve as a targeted medium to reach and interact with soccer fans in India with a more targeted approach. The Latin American federation has entered into an official partnership with the sports marketing agency India On Track to develop specific digital content for the Indian market.

Speaking about AFA’s expansion plan in India, AFA President Claudio Tapia said: “We are very happy and have high expectations for this project. We have seen over these years how much the Argentine national team generates in the Indian public and we know the potential that exists in this market. “” The national team and the Professional League will now have an official presence in India and this will undoubtedly generate new revenue for AFA, in addition to continuing to position our brand globally. Argentine football must follow this path of expansion across the world and it is an important step in this direction, “he added.

As part of the deal, India On Track will manage the business activities of the Argentine Football Association in India. In addition, AFA will also aim to establish an e-commerce network to market the official products of La Albiceleste in India.

Speaking about the partnership with AFA, Vivek Sethia, founder of India On Track, said: “We are delighted with this partnership with AFA. With India On Track’s expertise in digital content creation and sports asset management, we look forward to the challenge of penetrating and engaging with a new section of football fans in India for the AFA. “(ANI)
