Dutch football association KNVB issued a statement condemning the attack on Ukraine but did not follow Poland and other EU countries in saying Oranje will not play against Russia.
World football body Fifa said on Sunday matches scheduled in Russia would now be played on neutral ground without fans and UEFA moved the Champions League final from Saint Petersburg to the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, just north of Paris. .

Some 88% of people who took part in a NOS poll on Instagram said that Oranje should boycott the game.
The Dutch basketball team went ahead with Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Russia, despite invading Ukraine, but canceled the return leg in Almere which was scheduled for Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Dutch Volleyball Association said on Monday it had urged the world body to move the Men’s Volleyball World Cup, which is due to take place in Russia.
Poland, France and Slovenia have already withdrawn from the competition, and the Netherlands will also do so unless the competition is moved, the association said.
