A YOUNG AMERICAN FOOTBALL PLAYER from Springs Valley Schools in French Lick, Indiana (USA) died suddenly on Tuesday, September 13 from a sudden illness.
According to local reports on Wednesday, September 14, 10-year-old Treven Ball, a young American football player from Indiana, died suddenly after falling ill the previous days.
Family friend Jessica Alexander said wave3.com: “It was just four days ago that he was running in the stands.
“I feel like it will never be the same without him on this pitch.
She added: “The last thing he did before he died was try to tell his mother how much he loved her.”
Megan Murphy, the young footballer’s aunt, said: “He just made you want to be a better person just because of the way he lived.”
After a vigil for the 10-year-old the night he died, which was attended by teachers, friends and teammates, Treven’s aunt added: “We knew what kind of kid he was.
“But just coming here and seeing all the lives he’s affected. It really meant something to us.
A GoFundMe page read: “Treven entered the gates of heaven today 9/13/22. He was such a sweet, larger-than-life, fun-loving 5th grade boy. He never met a stranger and always had a hug to share.
“Everyone who knew him loved him. I’m looking to help ease the extra stress on his parents. The funds will be used, but his parents Holly and Terrin need it, both on leave and for funeral expenses.
He added: “Please donate if you can, share and pray for our family anyway. Treven Joe is so loved and will be missed by so many friends, teammates and family.
The young American footballer leaves behind his mother Holly, his father Terrin, his 8-year-old brother, Talon, and his 4-year-old sister, Taylyn.
Footage from the vigil was shared on social media and people shared their tributes to young Treven.
“Tonight our team, our program and our community came together to mourn a true Blackhawk. We have our #LightsOnForTreven and they will stay on for the rest of the night. 🖤💛”

“I’m very honored and grateful to capture Treven’s last game and even better a win.
“My sincere condolences to the Ball family. I can’t pretend to know what you are going through. Please pray for his friends and teammates as they deal with this. Please pray for the entire Blackhawk community as they grieve. .
