SDA FC took on Guam Bombs FC in the fifth week of play for the HyoSung Construction Korean American Football Association K League, according to match highlights provided by Woo Cho.
Knowing that Guam Bombs FC are correct with full squads in all games, SDA FC have signed two new players to intensify the competition. SDA team captain Keith “Yobo” Yoo was out through injury but eliminated powerhouse Guam Bombs FC 6-1.
SDA FC key player Noah Duenas came on with a goal and some assists, according to Cho.
In the second game of the league, Euro Car FC took on defending champions Sunny Divers FC in what K League organizers called the must-watch game of the week.
But Sunny Divers FC’s Inochi Recella set the tone and teammate Josh Pangelinan was quick to join the competition, scoring a total of four goals for the game. Sunny Divers FC’s Nicolas Cabuhat also contributed with his own goal and Caylani Estoy netted the first of his two goals of his season so far, according to Cho.
Euro Car FC held on, coming back from a 2-0 deficit with a goal to make it 2-1. But it was as close as they could get as Sunny Divers finished the game 8-3.
League newcomers Kian FC and BTC FC took to the pitch in the final game as both teams wanted to show they had what it takes to compete. Kian FC team president and captain Pejman Gouniai has made changes to his squad and signed new players to help change the trajectory of his side’s growing pains.
The strategy seemed to work as the teams battled it out throughout the match, with BTC FC winning 4-3.
