Ooredoo extends its partnership with the Qatar Football Association

Doha: Ooredoo has confirmed that it has renewed its partnership with the Qatar Football Association for two more years.
The two entities cemented the expanded partnership during a signing ceremony on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Ooredoo headquarters, attended by the CEO of Ooredoo and the President of the Qatar Football Association, and senior executives from both parties.
Under this agreement, Ooredoo will be the official telecommunications partner of the Qatar National Team, Qatar eNation Team and Amir Cup for the next two years.
The extension of the partnership is the latest in a long line of agreements between Ooredoo and QFA, as the two entities work together to promote football in Qatar as the country prepares to host the world’s major sporting tournament in 2022.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Qatar Football Association; football is in the spotlight in Qatar right now, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle is an ongoing priority for Ooredoo. Renewing our partnership with QFA can only benefit football in Qatar, as we work together to ensure we provide full support to our footballers and deliver an unrivaled fan experience for anyone who wants to watch. We look forward to another two years of successful partnership with QFA and showing the world what we can do at the major event in 2022.”
