Pixellot expands in Latin America by signing with the National Football Association of Chile (ANFP). Under the new agreement, Pixellot is providing its automated video and data technology to improve training and coaching for clubs across Chile.
The ANFP has invested in 40 Pixellot Air camera systems and distributed them to all clubs to help the Chilean national team’s sports directorate monitor and track matches across the country. Thanks to Pixellot’s cameras, national teams can view all matches in the training area, allowing continuous monitoring of promising players throughout Chile, without neglecting any region.
“Chile is among the first CONMEBOL member states to implement Pixellot’s artificial intelligence technology,” says Diego Karmy, Director of Development and New Projects at ANFP. “A real asset in increasing the visibility of youth football across the continent, Pixellot’s all-inclusive solution for football will help South American leagues identify and nurture promising talent, giving more players a chance of success. .”
Thanks to this investment, the ANFP can ensure that the clubs’ youth academies have the high-level technological equipment they need to generate more information and better analysis of the development of their players. The clubs themselves will also have a record of all the matches of the academy football series to generate analysis, statistics and strategies defined by the various technical bodies.
“We are proud to be part of ANFP’s choice to revolutionize the Chilean football scene,” says Alon Werber, CEO of Pixellot. “Following successful experiences in European leagues, CONMEBOL State Associations across South America are showing interest in Pixellot’s automated video and analytics solution, and we look forward to partnering with clubs across the continent to help make football more visible and accessible to all.”
