the Kansas City Chiefs epic 42-36 overtime win over Buffalo Tickets might just be the greatest football game I’ve ever seen. The game was a rollercoaster of emotions for both teams. As I sit down to write this, the game has been over for just over an hour and I’m still having trouble concentrating. Guess I won’t be the only Chiefs fan (or Bills fan for that matter) having trouble sleeping after this game.

The Chiefs have played many exciting games in their history. Just in the past four seasons with Patrick Mahomes as a quarterback they played in many fantastic games. The 54-51 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 comes to mind, but the stakes in that game weren’t quite as high and you can tell the defenses in that game were much worse. The Chiefs’ Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers was obviously more important, but that game didn’t go like this game and certainly didn’t feature a quarterback duel like this.

This weekend alone, there were three more playoff games that went down to the last few seconds, but none of them had the epic performances of this game. I’m sure we could come up with a list of matches that are just as impressive as those of other teams, but as I write this, I just can’t think of another match that matches this match. In fact, I have six specific reasons why I think this could have been the best game I’ve ever seen.

Let’s start with what was at stake.
