The World Freestyle Football Association launches an official podcast | New

The World Freestyle Football Association has partnered with Voiceworks Sport to work on its podcast and audio strategy.

The partnership kicks off with a first podcast recorded during the Super Ball World Open, the WFFA’s flagship tournament. All You Need Is A Ball will bring the latest news and stories from the event, giving freestyle fans access to the biggest names in the sport, telling the story of their journey in the game and revealing the personalities behind “the sport fastest growing than you I’ve ever heard of.

The wider series will follow the freestyle football calendar, providing updates from major events and takes from top freestylers around the world on breaking news, views and their own personal journeys.

All You Need Is A Bullet will be available on all podcast platforms, including Audible, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts, on August 16.

Sophie Hind, Managing Director of Voiceworks Sport, said: “Sound and excitement are abundant in Freestyle Football. It’s an exciting sport, and tailor-made for audio. We know that WFFA’s long-term ambition is to rub shoulders with other urban sports like 3×3 basketball, freestyle BMX and skateboarding at popular flagship events. Realizing the magnitude of the audio opportunity, they came to us to develop their audio strategy. We jumped at the chance to work with them.

“We look forward to working with the WFFA team for years to come. This partnership marks another exciting step in Voiceworks Sport’s journey, as we work with some of the most innovative organizations, brands and governing bodies in sport.

Dan Wood, Head of Partnerships at WFFA, added: “Freestyle football is a content-rich, digital sport where storytelling is rife. From incredible athletes and their journeys to incredible destinations, to experiencing cultures from all corners of the world, and building a whole new sport from the ground up, there’s a lot to talk about.

“Partnering with the premium expertise of Voiceworks Sport and launching our own podcast was the next logical step in our growth. We are so excited to share our amazing community and our journey with the world.

Founded in 2017 in Ontario, Canada, the WFFA operates in 115 countries with a mission to bring awareness and participation in the sport of freestyle soccer for men and women of all ages. The partnership gives Voiceworks Sport access to some of the most prolific freestylers as they compete in fighting tournaments, challenges and 3vs3 events spanning a 10-month competitive schedule.
