UWA vs North American Football preview

LIVINGSTON, Alabama (WTOK) – West Alabama prepares to face North American University at home.

History will be written during this game as it will be the first time the Tigers face the Stallions. West Alabama enters this game 2-0 after beating two SIAC teams. They took care of business in those two games, beating Morehouse College 48-7 and Tuskegee 33-7.

The Tigers have already played another historic game as kicker Gabriel Dunkle scored four career-high field goals last week against Tuskegee, including one from 47 yards. He is currently ranked 2nd in the country for field goals per game and 1st in the GSC for scores.

The offense itself is no slouch as they are ranked nationally in the top 10 for total offense and second in the GSC. The Tigers’ defense has dropped out of the top 10 but still does a great job as they’ve only allowed two touchdowns this season.

On the other side for the Stallions, they enter this game 2-1 and look to bounce back from their loss to Lamar University 47-3.

The game is scheduled for September 16 at Tiger Stadium at 6 p.m. ET. Next week, West Alabama will be in conference and debut on the road against Mississippi College.
